Always follow safe working loads, inspect hooks before use, and ensure the surface is suitable. Improper use may result in damage or injury.
See FAQs for more information
1. Intended Use
- Designed for storage and organisation only.
- Suitable for use on ferrous metal surfaces (steel). Will not adhere to aluminium, wood, or plastic.
- Safe Working Loads are based on controlled testing. Actual performance may vary depending on surface, coating, thickness, angle, and environment.
- Do not use for climbing, lifting people, or safety-critical applications.
2. Can I leave StablePin unsupervised near my horse?
No. StablePin should never be left unsupervised in areas directly accessible to your horse. Horses are inquisitive animals and will often investigate - and potentially chew, pull, or dislodge - anything within reach.
If a hook is damaged or pulled down by a horse, there is a risk of ingesting plastic or magnet components, which could cause serious internal injury.
Always position StablePin out of reach of your horse. Suitable locations include tack rooms, aisleways, wash bays, and the exterior of stable doors.
🚫 Never hang a hay net from StablePin inside the stable or enclosure where your horse can reach it. Horses may pull, chew, or dislodge the hook, which creates a risk of ingesting plastic or magnet components - this could cause serious harm. StablePin is not designed to withstand direct interference from a horse.
Suitable locations might include outside the stable door, in a tack room, or mounted on the exterior of a horsebox where the horse cannot access it.
3. Age Restrictions
- Not suitable for children under 12 years.
- Contains small magnets that may pose a choking hazard if detached.
4. Medical Device Interference
- Strong magnets may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other medical devices.
- Keep away from sensitive electronics (phones, credit cards, magnetic storage).
5. Installation & Handling
- Keep fingers and body parts clear of the magnet during installation to avoid pinch injuries.
- Lift and reposition; do not slide across surfaces to avoid scratches.
- Always inspect surface for metal filings, debris, or dirt before use.
6. Surface & Environmental Guidelines
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal grip.
- Holding strength may vary on painted or coated metal, thin sheets, or uneven surfaces.
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor use in normal environmental conditions. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme conditions where possible.
7. Load Guidelines
- Test each hook with intended weight before use.
- Do not exceed recommended Safe Working Load
8. Maintenance & Care
- Wipe magnets and surfaces clean after use to maintain grip.
- Check regularly for damage, wear, or debris. Replace if any part is compromised.
- Avoid dragging across painted or delicate surfaces.
9. Legal Disclaimer
- Use of this product is at the user’s risk.
- The manufacturer is not liable for injury, property damage, or loss caused by improper use or installation.
- Product performance may vary with surface type, condition, and environmental factors.
10. Disposal & Recycling
- Dispose of magnets and plastic components according to local regulations.
- Recycle packaging materials where possible.
11. Environmental / Temperature Risks
- Very high or low temperatures can affect magnet strength or plastic flexibility.
- Prolonged direct sun, heat sources, or freezing conditions should be avoided.
12. Surface Integrity
- Painted, powder-coated, or delicate surfaces may scratch or chip.
- Wipe both hook and surface, and lift instead of sliding.
13. Sharp / Dangerous Items
- Don’t hang objects with sharp points that could puncture the silicone backing or the magnet.
14. Vibration / Movement
- In mobile environments (horseboxes, vans, trailers), vibration can reduce holding power.
15. Cleaning / Chemicals
- Avoid harsh chemicals or solvents on the magnet or plastic.
- These could degrade silicone or plastic over time.
