1. Warranty Coverage
- StablePin / MountPin hooks are covered against defects in materials or workmanship under your statutory rights as a consumer.
- This includes cracking, breakage, or magnet detachment under normal, intended use. Where a defect is confirmed, we will replace the hook at no cost.
- Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to all purchases. See Section 8 for details.
2. Intended Use
- Hooks are designed for storage and organisation on ferrous metal surfaces.
- Safe Working Loads (SWL) are indicated for each size (Micro → Max) and should not be exceeded.
- Examples of intended use: hanging tack, tools, buckets, cables, or other lightweight-to-medium items.
- Not for lifting people, power tools beyond SWL, or any safety-critical applications.
3. Misuse / Exclusions
- Exceeding the Safe Working Load
- Use on non-ferrous surfaces (aluminium, wood, plastic)
- Dragging hooks across painted or delicate surfaces
- Installation or loading beyond intended orientation (e.g., upside down, sideways under load)
- Prolonged exposure to ammonia, moisture, urine, chemicals, or cleaning agents commonly present in stable and horsebox environments
- Prolonged exposure to direct UV or sunlight
- Degradation of the silicone rubber backing due to contamination, chemical exposure, or normal wear over time
- Accidents, neglect, or improper maintenance
Example: Hanging a heavy drill or using a single hook to lift large equipment is outside intended use and not covered. Degradation of the silicone backing caused by ammonia from stable flooring is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Inspect surfaces before use for debris, metal filings, or contamination
- Wipe hooks and surfaces clean to maintain grip and longevity
- Check hooks periodically for wear or damage
5. How to Claim Warranty
- Contact our support team at hello@stablepin.co.uk with proof of purchase and a photo of the damaged product
- Claims will be assessed based on intended use and warranty coverage
- If a defect is confirmed under normal use, we will replace the hook at no cost
6. Liability Disclaimer
- Use of StablePin / MountPin hooks is at the user’s own risk
- The manufacturer is not liable for injury, property damage, or loss caused by misuse or exceeding Safe Working Loads
- Holding strength varies depending on surface type, coating, thickness, and environment
7. Tip for Safe Use
- If unsure which size to use, start with Core, the most versatile size
- Consider multiple hooks for heavier or bulky items
- Always test with intended load before regular use
